This client came to us with the idea of creating a cottage in the woods while still being in the heart of Northville. The goal was to create a maintained but native landscape to fit seamlessly into the beautiful existing woodlot. The landscape features a pondless waterfall, a natural wood burning firepit, and artificial turf in areas where a traditional lawn just would not have established due to the deep shade of the forest surrounding the home.
