The client came to us with an idea of creating a luxury resort in their own back yard. They wanted to be able to come home from a long day of work and walk out their back door to a modern outdoor entertainment area. There were quite a few obstacles in the way to creating this outdoor oasis, the first being a 9 foot grade difference from the back of their property to the back of their house.
A structurally engineered tiered wall was a major part of the installation. With two tiers at 4’ tall and running a total of 140 linear feet, our team was able to create a level space in the back yard to start building their dream.
This project ended up including a 18’x40’ pool with an electric cover, an 8’x8’ spa, 4 different patio spaces outside of the pool deck, an outdoor kitchen, gas fireplace, and an artificial turf area for a low maintenance lawn area.
